Every week, the palace’s royal baker prepares delicious treats for Cinderella and her friends to enjoy. Here is one of her favorites, named after her very own fairy godmother’s magic spell!
Follow Cinderella’s step-by-step instructions to make your own magical Bippity Boppity Boo Buns!
Step one: collect your ingredients.
- One can of (reduced fat) crescent roll dough
- 8 large marshmallows
- Cinnamon sugar (2 tsp sugar mixed with 1 tsp ground cinnamon)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
- 1 baking sheet
- Parchment paper
Step two: preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step three: unroll can of crescent rolls and split evenly into 8 sections. Form these into small circular discs and place on parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
(Princesses, you will probably need to remove your silk gloves for this step so as not to stain them!)
Step four: dip marshmallows in melted butter, covering completely.
Step five: roll buttered marshmallows in cinnamon sugar (place on top of crescent rolls when finished – one marshmallow for each roll).
Step six: wrap each individual marshmallow in a crescent roll, pinching dough together.
Step seven: place rolls in oven – and don’t forget to say the magic words:
“Bippity Boppity Boo!”
Step eight: bake 12 minutes, or until golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Take a peek inside of the roll – poof! If your spell worked, the marshmallow has magically disappeared and is replaced by a gooey glaze of cinnamon sugar and pure fairy tale magic.
Cinderella likes to enjoy the finished product in her favorite room of the castle, sitting by a large window that looks out onto the forest.
She invites her friends to join in the delicious treats and heats up a pot of delicious tea or teacup of hot apple cider to drink alongside her meal.
